Commentator, columnist & “all-around rabble-rouser,” Karen Kataline hosts Spouting Off, a lively, opinion-driven talk show covering politics, pop culture and social psychology.
As a female, Jewish, conservative, with a background in the Theater and a Masters’ degree in social work from Columbia University, Kataline is something of a political unicorn.

She delivers a brand of talk radio that is feisty, funny and passionate about first principles.

Kataline’s first career in musical comedy took her on tour around the country, and to New York City, where she eventually discovered that she preferred expressing herself in her own words rather than memorizing somebody else’s.

She maintains an active website and blog at and her Op-eds have been published by Fox News, Investor’s Business Daily, Western Journal, Townhall, The Daily Caller, FrontPage Mag, and The American Thinker among others.

Karen Kataline is the author of an award-winning memoir, FATLASH! Food Police & the Fear of Thin, a personal account and analysis of her experience with child beauty pageants & food restriction.

Her book was the first to introduce the term “Princess by Proxy” and remains relevant as a cautionary tale about blurred boundaries and the sexualization of children.
