The story of Jussie Smollett is just the latest high-profile example of a flurry of manufactured hate crimes since the election of a President the Left still refuses to accept. This case ought to be the tipping point that makes it crystal clear that they are full of hooey when they repeatedly claim that America is full of racists, bigots and homophobes. If their accusations are so true, why do they have to keep fabricating the evidence?
We have seen numerous “agents provocateurs” as they continue to concoct crimes of racial injustice and bigotry. In reality, they are the perpetrators of lies and propaganda that they use to viciously frame and defame innocent people.
I am not implying that real examples of bigotry no longer exist but the Left has so politicized and exaggerated these issues that people seem to have forgotten that being a bigot isn’t against the law. It is against the law to act on one’s prejudices in an unlawful manner. Leftists have been working overtime to criminalize thoughts instead of actions.
The greatest illustration of bigotry today is coming from false accusers themselves. They are so invested in their indictment of America that they can’t afford to report or acknowledge facts to the contrary.
How come Democrats and Leftists are always the ones who regularly employ these ugly and destructive tactics? From the Covington kids, to Ferguson, to Kavanaugh and all the way back to Tawana Brawley, Leftists relish the role of victim. They are willing to manufacture a story to do so if necessary.
Professional actor, Jussie Smollett played his role well. He was helped immeasurably by his realistic expectation that his story would not be scrutinized. He belongs not just to one victim group, but two. Therein lies one of the greatest benefits for continuing to compete in the victim derby. Your behavior is always justified because….you guessed it, you are a victim. As expected most of the media fell all over themselves with righteous indignation and the growing list of Democrat presidential candidates rushed to the nearest microphone to characterize the incident as a “modern-day lynching.”
The biggest story of false accusation has been playing out for more than two years and it has served as the backdrop for all the rest. That’s the on-going, in-your-face show stopper, known as the “Trump-Russia” Investigation. No matter how much evidence has been made public of false charges, felonious use of FISA warrants, Democrat operatives in charge of the “investigation,” and mountains of evidence that the FBI, the DOJ and others have been guilty of exactly the crimes for which they have tried to frame Donald Trump, little to no punishment has yet been meted out.
Are we becoming inured to the crime of framing others for crimes they did not commit? We can’t afford to be. No matter how many there may be, there must be arrest and conviction of anyone who has falsely accused a person they know to be innocent. No matter how high the official, this must be the standard for everyone. If they escape prosecution, no one will be safe, especially those the Left has pretended to care about most–the powerless.
